About

CPTwojpg

I am the Dean of Students at a large public state university on the Central Coast of California. In addition, I am an adjunct professor in the Psychology program at Brandman University, where I teach Multicultural Counseling. I have been in Student Affairs over a decade and have broad experiences working with first-generation college students, underrepresented populations, non-traditional students, veterans, sexual assault survivors, and foster youth.

I am passionate about social justice and building community. Originally from the Central Coast, I returned to San Luis Obispo to work in the non-profit sector before transitioning to higher education. I have served as a Board Member of United Way and Chair of the United Way Agency Advisory Committee. I am also a founding member and former chair of the Asian Pacific Islander Faculty and Staff Association. Currently, I serve as a Board Member for Transitions-Mental Health Association.
